Public Notice In accordance with NC GS 160A-364, the Clayton Planning Board will conduct the following evidentiary hearing on Monday, August 26th, 2019, at 6:00PM in the Town Council Chambers in Town Hall located at 111 East Second Street to consider the following: • 2019-42-CUP Horne Memorial UMC Expansion – Request for a Conditional Use Permit to expand an existing church at parcel number 166913-02-4512, and to provide an accessory playground and shelter at parcel number 166917-02-2220. The church property is addressed 121 East Second Street. Per Town of Clayton UDC, a Conditional Use Permit is required to operate a church in the O-I Zoning District. During an evidentiary hearing, the Planning Board must make findings of fact based upon sworn testimony and other credible evidence.
