Public Notice In accordance with NC GS 160A-364, the Clayton Planning Board will conduct the following evidentiary hearings on Monday, October 28, 2019, at 6 PM in the Town Council Chambers in Town Hall, located at 111 E. Second Street to consider the following requests: 2019-161-CUP Clayton Storage Conditional Use Permit- Request to allow the use of “Self-storage facility” on the subject parcels. Per UDC requirements this use is only permitted via issuance of a Conditional Use Permit. The properties are zoned Highway-Business (B-3) and are located off US HWY 70; TAG #s: 05E99018Y & 05025003B 2019-191-VAR 217 S Church Street Variance- Request for a variance from Section 155.308 of the Town of Clayton Unified Development Code, to allow an addition to a residential home to extend into the required setback. Property is located in the Residential-6 (R-6) zoning district at 217 S Church Street; TAG # 05015062. During an evidentiary hearing, the Planning Board must make findings of fact based upon sworn testimony and other credible evidence.
