Bulldogs overtake Rosewood

GOLDSBORO — The Princeton boys basketball team improved to 5-0 in the 1-A Carolina Conference with 69-50 dominant victory over Rosewood on Tuesday night.

Nayshin Waller and Aden Taylor scored 14 points each for the Bulldogs (11-4, 5-0), while Tyrese Whitley added 10 points and Ethan Potts contributed 11. Taylor also added five assists, three blocks and eight rebounds.

Princeton jumped out to a 16-point lead after the first quarter and continued to lead from there to win for the fifth time in six games.

The Bulldogs will travel to Rose Hill Union on Friday night at 7:30.
