Church to hold revival

KENLY — Hickory Cross Gospel Center, 3713 Hickory Cross Crossroads Road, will have revival beginning at 7 p.m. daily Wednesday, March 13 through Friday, March 15. The Rev. Dennis Pollock is the guest speaker.

Free carriage rides offered

SMITHFIELD — The Downtown Smithfield Development Corp. will offer free carriage rides at the corner of Third and Market streets on a first-come, first-served basis from 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 15. Carriage rides are offered on the third Friday of each month through July 19 as organizers invite participants to explore downtown Smithfield.

Battlefield program slated Saturday

FOUR OAKS — The Bentonville Battleground State Historic Site will hold a program on Civil War medicine, “A Fighting Chance for Life” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 16 at the Harper House, 5466 Harper House Road.

Nighttime hospital tours will be offered Saturday evening. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at https://squareup.com/store/fobb or by calling 910-594-0789.
