Sept. 7, 1990 — March 8, 2019
PINE LEVEL — Trevor Martin Freedman, 28, formerly of Kenly, passed away suddenly at his home Friday evening, March 8, 2019.
Trevor was born in Jacksonville, Florida, to Kathy Cooper and Robert Freedman on Sept.7, 1990. He was a member of Kenly Original Free Will Baptist Church and a 2008 graduate of North Johnston High School. Trevor was employed with Parkside Restaurant in Pine Level.
Trevor was a gifted artist with a great love for music. His many talents included writing, sketching and playing the guitar. Trevor’s true passion was astronomy, which gave him the gift of appreciating all things, big and small. He spent many hours stargazing and waiting for the next meteor shower. His unique sense of humor would always lighten the mood and he was always quick with a witty pun. Trevor always celebrated life to the fullest through laughter, love and compassion for others. He had a deep love for his family, especially his son, Wyatt, and enjoyed the time he was able to spend with them and his friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Kenly Funeral Service. A service to remember Trevor’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 14, by the graveside at Kenly Cemetery with the Rev. Aubrey Williamson officiating.
Trevor will be deeply missed by his mother, Kathy Cooper of Pine Level; father, Robert Freedman, and his wife, Janet, of Durham; son, Wyatt; brothers, Tyler Freedman of Pine Level and Samuel Freedman of Durham; faithful canine companion, Pepper; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends.
