The Wilson Times area should enjoy lots of sunshine this weekend, with temperatures in a moderating trend through Monday afternoon.

Highs are expected to go from the low 50s on Saturday to the low 60s on Sunday and then to the mid-60s Monday afternoon. A high-pressure ridge stretching from off of the New England coast to Texas, with the center then setting up to our south, is expected to keep us dry into Monday afternoon.

A powerful cold front scheduled to arrive overnight Monday will end the moderation and likely throw the area into the coldest air mass of the season. Wind chill temperatures could even reach the upper teens just before sunrise Wednesday. For details, click on the Weathercast's audio link below.
