For the first weekend in a while, there's no major threat of rain in the greater Wilson area this weekend.

The region can expect a typical springtime pattern of warm daytime temperatures and mild overnight lows under sunny skies, Albert Thomas Jr. says in this weekend's installment of The Wilson Times Weathercast brought to you by NCWheels.com.

Highs will be in the mid-70s on Saturday, around 80 on Sunday, the mid-70s on Monday and the mid-80s on Tuesday, with lows in the low- to mid- 50s through the weekend and near 60 to begin the workweek. Breezy conditions are expected on Saturday and Sunday, with winds of 10-15 mph.
